Back in the OKC after roughly 5 months of residencies, travel and catching up with family back in South Africa!

I’ll be posting at a more regular clip now – the plan is for a thrice weekly onslaught of work in progress, ideas, and general news. One of which will be a review of those last 5 months. Coming soon. Promise.

Currently almost all of my Visa Series embroideries – including a new addition – will be scattered between two exhibitions out of state! Right now half are in the incredible Plaid Progress (which I’ll post about next week), and the other bebes are headed to Haystack Mountain School of Craft for a review exhibition in July!

This July I’ll be heading to ACRE residency in Wisconsin – I’m super excited to meet a new cluster of artists and get to know them and their work. A major draw of this residency is that after all the collaborative activities of the 2 weeks, the organization offers an opportunity to alumni to exhibit with their gallery space in Chicago, or with a partner gallery (in Chicago or elsewhere.)

Also, expecting to make the most of my time in CHEESE COUNTRY.

I’ll be back next week Tuesday with another post/update!

Cheers y’all!
